Contemporary Christian artist Carman (1956 2021) whose full name was Carmelo Domenic Licciardello, released the album on Sept. 13, 1993. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on Aug. 3, 1994 for 500,000 copies sold, which this award celebrates.
