Bel Colle Barbaresco 'Convivio' 2020It's rare to find quality Barbaresco for under a $100 retail, so it was great to find this from Verduno based Bel Colle. Beautiful perfume of red berries, sweet spices and fennel frond. As expected, a step up in concentration from the Langhe Nebbiolo though still a good linearity to it. Good ripeness to the red fruit in the midpalate with again soft yet present tannin throughout. Great value for earlier drinking Barbaresco. Jeremy Muller, FWC. Cherry,
