Old Style Maple and Cocobolo Mallard Duck CallThis is a all wooden "Old Styled" mallard duck call. Made from high figured Maple wood with a Cocobolo insert. Designed similar in shape to the old time favorites from the 1940's and 50's. This style of call was even carried into the 1960's as well. The overall length of the call is about 5 3 4" long. The insert has a o ring style insert which is a Arkansas cut tone board. Each insert is hand cut from my personal J frame tone board jig. Due to the

This call is made from a beautiful piece of Cocobolo wood and has no lip stop or baffle inside

The barrel of this call is made from Stabilized Spaulted Plum tree wood with a Cocobolo tone board exhaust

Back side is made of Ribbon Mahogany

This is a double sided call and the back side can be played to make some nice clucks

Yellowish color and can have Dark spots throughout the wood

Box is made of Eastern Red Cedar wood with base of Bloodwood

African Wenge is a dense stringy grainy wood from Africa

Argentine Osage Orange wood is a heavy dense wood from South America
