The aircraft from which this instrument was removed appears to have had an upper operating limit of 2800 RPM judging from the limit markings in thin red tape that have been applied upon the numerical scale beneath the glass
Turn and Bank Indicator, (Wendezeiger) Luftwaffe, Fl 22402, Pneumatic Allison It has a serial #This is a fine example of an early WWII era German Wendezeiger (Turn and Bank) Fl 22402, as used in aircraft of the Luftwaffe, such as the Bf 109, Me 110, and Ju 87. Measures ~3 inches diameter and 5 inches deep. The glass and face markings are intact, as is the floating ball within the bank indicator.
