Deluxe Red Cedar Reelfoot Style Duck CallThis is my Deluxe version of a Reelfoot Style metal reed duck call. This model here is the full size version with the barrel measuring approx. 4" in length and 3 4" bore. The barrel is made of nicely figured Eastern Red Cedar wood with Maple Burl and African Blackwood mouth piece and stippled aluminum band on the insert end. The exhaust is made of Eastern Red Cedar with Maple Burl and African Blackwood on the exhaust end with Striped Rosewood wood

The subtlety of smaller crystal sound board makes this call a good choice when looking for a call that is not over bearing

Good sounding call for the field edges or open areas

The sound of this style call is a cross section of a short box and a long box call

This call is a Red Oak box with a Red Oak lid

Zapote is a heavy dense wood from the Yucatan

Mahogany Box with a striker paddle of Mahogany and Slate box is trimmed in Mexican Bocote

The natural taper of the inside of these horns make them a perfect choice for trumpet calls

I bought this wood about 25 years ago and it has been air drying all this time
