Early Primitive Scandinavian Folk Art Stag’s Head c.1840A wonderfully primitive and striking Scandinavian carving of a Stags head. c. 1840 Incorporating real antlers, mounted on a wall plaque. This piece exudes charm, its naive sweet features are painted in dusty toned ox blood red with beautiful time worn patination. Its fanned antlers are faded to a delicate sun bleached grey.

Made from French Oak which has developed a beautiful greyish patina over many centuries and with intricate blacksmith made ironwork
