Matched Pair RCA 6FQ7 / 6CG7 Vacuum Tubes Valves March 16 2025This matched pair of RCA 6FQ7 6CG7 dual triodes was tested on our TV7 U for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas and their readings are as follows: Tube One measured 66 53 while Tube Two measured 67 57 where minimum (65%) is 50 50. These tubes have steel support rods; ladder plates and side D getters. I played them with adapters (not included) in my Radio Craftsmen RC 2 monoblocks and they sounded great even though they test

This GE 5-Star industrial 6SK7 / GL 6137 tube tested to spec on our Paul Hart-calibrated TV7/U

Dynamic range is excellent as this album goes from ethereal to raucous and back

They have shoulder / ST / Coke-bottle bottles and dimpled-sheet getters

All four tubes' diodes tested fine as well

It will need to be serviced
