NCB South Wales - HE3810 - Glendower - DCC Sound Accessory Type_CouplerGlendower was one of the 93 locomotives completed by Hunslet in the years after the war. Works number 3810 was completed in 1954 and sold directly to the NCB. This locomotive was moved directly to the coalfields of South Wales and gained the name Glendower. It was withdrawn from Hafodyrynys, Crumlin in 1973. The engine was purchased from the NCB and moved to the South Devon Railway at Buckfastleigh in 1978. It returned to traffic and proved a valuable
