Kavalan | Podium aged cherry and saucy plum tomato)An intriguing release from Taiwan's King Car distillery, presented as part of their Kavalan Solist range. This expression is allowed to mature in casks that previously matured peated whisky which has imparted a helping of smoke and earthy notes to this single malt whisky. Tasting Notes Subtropical fruitiness such as mango and green apple lurking in the complex background is to be perceived together with hints of honey, cherry, white pepper and grape.
